What PermissionsLite does
In the creator's own words: "PermissionsLite starts every new player on a rank ladder that climbs by itself, and it sells your VIP for you through free trials and paid point rentals."
Server plugins add features to an ARK: Survival Ascended server without changing the game files players download. They run inside the server's mod framework, read their own config file, and usually expose commands and permissions so admins decide who can use what.
The creator associates it with these topics: "AsaApi plugin", "ARK Survival Ascended plugin", "ASA server plugin", "PermissionsLite", "ark rank ladder plugin", "ark auto vip rank", "ark vip trial plugin", "ark rank rental points", "ark timed permission groups" and "ark new player starter rank". They are a good guide to what server owners use it for, and they are what the site's search matches.
The full feature write up, with the creator's own formatting and media, is on the resource page.
