Your ranks run themselves, and your VIP sells itself.
PermissionsLite starts every new player on a rank ladder that climbs by itself, and it sells your VIP for you through free trials and paid point rentals.
The Permissions plugin gives you groups, but somebody still has to hand them out, take them back, and remember who was promised what. PermissionsLite does all of that for you. A brand new player lands in a starter group the second they first join, climbs your ladder on real days or on played hours, gets warned before a rank runs out, and can taste your VIP once for free or rent it with shop points. Every grant goes through a timed group, so even if you remove me tomorrow, no player is ever stuck holding a rank they should have lost.

I add no permission nodes of my own. Permissions is the plugin I build on, so it must be installed, and the groups you name in my config must exist in it. My staff commands run from the console and over RCON, which are trusted already.

config.json under License and then KeyPermissionsLite folder into ArkApi/Plugins/. Keep the folder name exactly, because AsaApi only loads a plugin whose folder and DLL share a name.config.json under License and then Key.Tracks section. Your webhook goes in discord.json beside the config.AsaApiLoader.exe and watch ArkApi.log for my loaded line.PermissionsLite.Reset on a test player, and watch the starter rank land.Stuck on a step, or a rank not doing what you expected? What does PermissionsLite do?
PermissionsLite runs your ranks for you on top of the free Permissions plugin. New players get a starter group on their first ever join, ladders promote them over real days or played hours, ranks warn before they run out, and players can trial your VIP once for free or rent it with shop points. Everything is stored in a database with a full audit trail.
Do I need the Permissions plugin for PermissionsLite to work?
Yes. PermissionsLite is an engine for the free Permissions plugin, not a replacement for it. Permissions holds your groups and their perks, and I decide who gets which group and for how long. Without Permissions installed I sit quietly and hand out nothing.
How do I install PermissionsLite?
Unzip the download and drop the PermissionsLite folder into ArkApi/Plugins/, keeping the folder name so it matches the DLL. Paste your licence key into config.json, name your groups in the Tracks section, then restart the server through the AsaApi loader and watch ArkApi.log for the loaded line.
Does PermissionsLite work across a cluster?
Yes, that is what the MySQL option is for. PermissionsLite shares its players, grants and clocks across every map, so a player who first joins on one map is not welcomed twice on the next, and only one map ever acts when a rank comes due. On a single server the built in SQLite needs no setup at all.
What happens to the ranks if I remove the plugin or my licence runs out?
Nothing gets stuck, and that is by design. PermissionsLite hands every timed rank to the Permissions plugin itself, which removes it on schedule with or without me. A lapsed licence stops new handouts, but every rank already out there still runs out on its own clock, so no player keeps perks they should have lost.
Was any AI content used in the making of this?
The source code itself was fully created by myself. I do use ChatGPT occasionally to generate product images, and I do use ChatGPT to generate the website descriptions. I do this because I don't speak native English perfectly. I am natively from Sweden, so I use GPT to help translate and write product descriptions. I also will sometimes use GPT to write better English logs. Majority of my Free plugins are open source, so you can review the code yourself and freely fork and edit it to your liking.

Here is what this listing gives you, as of October 23, 2026:
PermissionsLite costs $24.97 one time. Prices are in US dollars and set by the creator, not by GameServersHub.
PermissionsLite is a one time purchase of $24.97. You pay once and keep access, with no renewal.
Access on GameServersHub is to the listing, not to one file, so new releases of PermissionsLite are included for as long as the listing exists.
Older releases stay available in the Versions tab when the creator keeps them.
The creator accepts debit or credit card through Stripe. Payment goes to the creator through GameServersHub's checkout, and your access starts as soon as the payment completes.
Digital goods are delivered instantly, so sales of PermissionsLite are final by default. Refunds are decided case by case, for example when a resource is broken, materially misdescribed or was never downloaded. To ask for one, contact GameServersHub staff in the GameServersHub Discord.
A refund ends your access. The full policy, including any consumer rights your local law gives you, is in the refund terms.
GameServersHub does not run trials, so there is no free version of PermissionsLite to download first.
What you can check before paying: 5 screenshots, all on this page.
Yes. Downloads need a GameServersHub account so the file is delivered to you and your access is recorded. Accounts are free: sign in with Discord or Steam, there is no separate password.
The current release is 5.8 MB. That is small enough to upload to a rented server through its web file manager.
GameServersHub stores the PermissionsLite file itself, so you download it directly from this page rather than from a third party mirror.
Each download link is made for you when you press the button, works once, and expires within about a minute, so links cannot be shared or hotlinked.
PermissionsLite is published by Lucas F, whose profile shows their history on the site. Listings go live when the creator publishes them, and GameServersHub moderators remove any listing found to be harmful or misleading.
The latest release has a published SHA-256 checksum (1d5bc034a1c3...) that GameServersHub verified at upload. Compare it with your download to confirm the file is unchanged.
Nobody has reviewed it yet.
As with anything you install on a server, scan the file, read the code or config where you can, and test on a copy first.
Come back to this page while signed in: the buy button becomes a download button, and any license key the creator sends appears here too. Every purchase, with its plan and renewal date, is also listed under your purchases.

Unless the creator sets different terms in the description, buying PermissionsLite gives you a personal, non-exclusive license to use it for running your own game servers or projects. It is not a transfer of ownership.
Read the full wording in the resource license terms.
The default license covers your own game servers or projects, so running PermissionsLite on several servers you operate is allowed unless the creator says otherwise in the description.
Servers you run for someone else, such as a client, are not your own; ask the creator first.
PermissionsLite has 0 downloads and 3 page views on GameServersHub. It is one of 26 ARK: Survival Ascended plugins on the site.
PermissionsLite has not been reviewed yet. Once you buy it you can be the first to rate it in the Reviews tab.
That depends on what your server needs, so here are the facts to weigh: it costs from $24.97, nobody has reviewed it yet, it has 0 downloads and its latest release is 0.0.9 from August 18, 2026.
No other GameServersHub resources are listed as required for PermissionsLite. Check the description for software it expects on the machine itself.

If a recent game update changed something it relies on, the newest reviews on this page and the creator's changelog in the Versions tab are the quickest way to find out.
Download the latest release from this page (your access covers new versions), back up your current config, then replace the old files with the new ones and restart.
Read the changelog in the Versions tab first: major releases can change config options, so compare your old settings with the new defaults.
Yes. The Versions tab lists all 4 releases with their changelogs, and signed in members with access can download any release the creator has not withdrawn. Useful when a game update or another plugin is not ready for the newest one.
Install it on the servers you run together, but do not pass the files to people who have not bought it. Each person who wants their own copy should get it from this page.
Changing its settings for your own servers is what the config is for. Deeper edits for your own use are not forbidden by the default license, but sharing an edited copy still counts as redistribution, which is not allowed without the creator's permission.
Keep a note of your changes: updates to PermissionsLite can overwrite edited files.
No, unless the creator explicitly allows it. The default license forbids redistributing, reselling, leaking or publicly mirroring PermissionsLite or any part of it, and passing it off as your own work.
Breaking the license can end your access and your account. Spotted a leaked copy? Tell the creator or GameServersHub staff.
The default license does not require an on-screen credit, but you may not present the work as your own. If Lucas F asks for credit in the description, follow that.
A short credit in your server info or Discord is a good way to support creators either way.
Start with the description. Still stuck? Describe the problem in a review so Lucas F sees it, with your version, your server setup and the exact error message.
You can also ask in the GameServersHub Discord, where creators and server owners help each other.
For a bug or setup issue, tell the creator in a review. If the listing itself looks wrong (stolen work, a harmful file or a misleading description), contact GameServersHub staff in the GameServersHub Discord or through the contact details in the terms of service. Moderators can hide or remove listings.
Yes, once you have bought it. Signed in buyers can rate PermissionsLite from one to five stars and write about their experience in the Reviews tab.
Specific reviews (your game version, setup and what worked) help other server owners most.
Yes. Any member can upload a resource, free or paid. Creators keep their sales minus a small platform fee and are paid through Stripe or PayPal. See becoming a creator for plans and fees.
Compare it with similar resources and read the full description against your own setup. Check the refund terms before buying.
