Bet on a dice roll in chat, and check the table was straight.
RollTheDice lets players bet shop points on a chat dice roll, with a growing jackpot and a sealed seed anyone can check, so nobody can call the table crooked.
I keep an honest table. Every roll is a number from 1 to 100 drawn from a server seed whose hash is on show before anybody puts points down. Your players call a coin flip or name a target for a bigger payout, the jackpot fattens from every losing bet, and when somebody hollers that it is rigged they can go and do the sum themselves. RollTheDice runs with or without a shop, so any server can open the table tonight.

With no Permissions plugin on the server the table is open: everybody plays and nobody gets the VIP perks. The play node fails open on purpose, so a missing permissions install never shuts your own game down.

What does RollTheDice do?
RollTheDice is a dice betting game that lives in your server chat. Players stake points on a coin flip or on a target number, a growing jackpot sits on top, and every roll can be checked afterwards so a big loss never turns into an accusation.
How do I install RollTheDice?
Unzip the download, drop the RollTheDice folder into ArkApi/Plugins/, and keep the folder name as it is since AsaApi wants it to match the DLL. Set your bet limits in config.json and restart. The first boot writes a load line into ArkApi.log.
Are the rolls really fair, or can the server rig them?
They are fair and you can prove it. Each roll is built from a hashed server seed, and one command puts that seed and its hash in front of any player who asks. If a roll had been meddled with the numbers would stop adding up, and anybody can run the check.
Can one hot streak drain my point economy?
No. The payout cap limits what a single win can pay, the maximum bet limits the stake, and the coin flip multiplier sits under two so the house keeps a small edge. Target mode takes a cut as well. Over a long night the table holds its ground.
What happens when somebody hits the jackpot?
They take the whole pool. It then resets to the seed amount you chose, so it is never empty, and it starts growing again out of a small share of every losing bet. Big wins can go straight to your Discord.
Do bets need ArkShop points?
The table plays best on real shop points, because then players are staking the same points they earn everywhere else, and it takes them from ArkShop or from WShop. It is optional though. With no shop installed I deal each player their own points so the game still runs.
Was any AI content used in the making of this?
The source code itself was fully created by myself. I do use ChatGPT occasionally to generate product images, and I do use ChatGPT to generate the website descriptions. I do this because I don't speak native English perfectly. I am natively from Sweden, so I use GPT to help translate and write product descriptions. I also will sometimes use GPT to write better English logs. Majority of my Free plugins are open source, so you can review the code yourself and freely fork and edit it to your liking.
