Count down to wipes, boss nights and raid weekends.
EventCountdown warns your players before wipes, boss nights and raid weekends with in game alerts and a live Discord clock, so nobody misses the big moment.
Nothing stings like missing wipe day because nobody saw it coming. EventCountdown makes sure that never happens on your server. List your big moments once and I build the hype for you: a heads up a week early, another at one hour, a tick across the screen for the final seconds, and a Discord post whose clock runs down all by itself. No database, no other plugin needed, and one command shows players what is coming.

No permission plugin needed. EventCountdown puts nothing behind a permission node, so there is nothing to set up and nothing to install. The console and RCON commands are already yours alone.

EventCountdown folder in ArkApi/Plugins/, keeping the folder name as shipped, because the loader pairs it with the DLL name.EventCountdown/config.json and add your events and their times. Want the Discord side? Your webhook goes in discord.json, the small file right next to it.AsaApiLoader.exe.ArkApi.log, then type /events in game to see your list.Hit a wall, or a clock that will not fire? What does EventCountdown do?
EventCountdown counts down to your server's big moments and warns everybody as the clock runs out. You list each event once with its date and its warning points, and I handle the rest in game and in your Discord channel, right down to a ticker for the final seconds.
How do I install EventCountdown?
Unzip the download and put the EventCountdown folder into ArkApi/Plugins/, keeping the folder name as shipped so it matches the DLL. Add your events to config.json, then restart the server through the AsaApi loader and watch ArkApi.log for the loaded line.
What clock do the event times run on?
The server machine's own local clock. Each time is written as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM on a 24 hour clock. If your host sits in a different time zone than you do, set the times to match the server and not the clock on your wall.
What happens to an event whose time has already gone?
I skip it, unless it repeats. A repeating event just rolls forward to its next run, so a raid weekend set to every seven days picks up next week on its own without you touching it.
Can I add or change an event without a restart?
Yes, and it is my favourite part. Make your change in config.json, then run EventCountdown.Reload from the console or over RCON and the new event list goes live straight away.
How does the live Discord countdown work?
The embed carries a Discord timestamp, so the post reads starts in 3 hours and keeps updating itself. One post covers the whole countdown. Run EventCountdown.TestDiscord first to be sure your webhook is right.
Was any AI content used in the making of this?
The source code itself was fully created by myself. I do use ChatGPT occasionally to generate product images, and I do use ChatGPT to generate the website descriptions. I do this because I don't speak native English perfectly. I am natively from Sweden, so I use GPT to help translate and write product descriptions. I also will sometimes use GPT to write better English logs. Majority of my Free plugins are open source, so you can review the code yourself and freely fork and edit it to your liking.
