What RaidAlarm does
In the creator's own words: "RaidAlarm sends each tribe a raid warning in their own Discord channel, as one live message that keeps counting hits while the whole tribe is fast asleep."
Server plugins add features to an ARK: Survival Ascended server without changing the game files players download. They run inside the server's mod framework, read their own config file, and usually expose commands and permissions so admins decide who can use what.
