Hey, please advise me about progesterone! The doctor prescribed 100 mg in capsules, but after taking it, I just pass out—it's impossible to work. Has anyone else experienced this? What are the minimum doses that have been effective for you in HRT? I am particularly interested in protecting the endometrium when taking estrogen. Perhaps you have tried transdermal or vaginal forms—I have heard that they are effective at lower doses?

Hello! Oh, that drowsiness from the pills—I know that feeling! I went through it too. I took the same 100 mg, and then switched to vaginal capsules (only 45 mg). My gynecologist said that a lower dose is often enough to protect the uterus, especially when the medicine acts right where it's needed. Because these capsules hardly enter the bloodstream, you don't feel dizzy or sleepy. But you still need to have an ultrasound every few months to check that everything is okay. There are also creams for the skin — the doses are even smaller. Be sure to talk to your doctor about other options! Here, by the way, is a useful article on this topic: https://ways2well.com/blog/what-is-the-lowest-dose-of-progesterone-for-hrt
