Server Settings Report Plugin

We would love a plugin to allow any player to enter some command (in chat for example) and have returned to them a list of current server settings.

In the simplest case, these could be a few predefined settings like XPMultiplier, TamingSpeedMultiplier, HarvestAmountMultiplier etc.

A more flexible setup could allow admins to configure (via a JSON configuration file) a custom list of server settings are reported.

You can do it manually with Custom Chat Commands, so such plugin is not very needed.

Not really. Unless I'm mistaken, we would need to edit the config file for Custom Chat Commands each time the server config changes and set it to the correct details.

We'd really like a plugin that pulls the response directly from whatever settings the server is currently running with.

Speaking with some other server owners, this is something that has been wished for by many.

Yes, but it's a good workaround. I don't think you change server settings too often.

Well, despite *not* being a C++ programmer I was able to utilise parts of a couple of other plugins here and put together a new plugin to do what we need. It reports a bunch of settings to the chat box. Works great.

Could you elaborate on what you did? I would like this as well. Keeping in mind, I'm not a dev either, so the "Ark Server API code for DUMMIES" version, please.

I too would like to see such a plugin. Not because I am too lazy to update the info. But because I am usually tied up doing other tings with the server. I think it would be very usefull. Plus so many people come to a server and are always asking. If people get use to typing something say /serverinfo and get a print out of certain multipliers or list of mods, it could be very usefull.
