Hey I got the shop working again with the fixed version, but when you do /shop 1 etc it just displays no message, any ideas?
 
hey im trying to search around but increase yall answer it quicker than me finding it....how do i add a player to my vip list? i know i have to put their steam id number in im asuming or use a console command like permissions.add steam id# VIP

Permissions.Add <SteamID> <Group> - Adds player to the existing group.
Permissions.Remove <SteamID> <Group> - Removes player from the group.
Permissions.AddGroup <Group> - Adds a group.
Permissions.RemoveGroup <Group> - Removes the group.
Permissions.Grant <Group> <Permission> - Grants a specific permission to the group. Wildcard character (*) would give all permissions to this group.
Permissions.Revoke <Group> <Permission> - Revokes a specific permission from the group.
Permissions.PlayerGroups <SteamID> - Lists all player's groups.
Permissions.GroupPermissions <Group> - Lists all group's permissions.
Permissions.ListGroups - Lists all groups and their permissions.

looked into it your doing it wrong /shop 1 would show the next shop page if you have that many shop items but it seems you need to use the buy command with the id:

/buy ingots100
/buy para

look at id:

Hey all i finaly got it all to work and worked out how to edit it all woo hoo thank you to all who helped :)
 
My server seems to be crashing after staying up for about 20-30 minutes now. Anywhere I can access the logs for whats happening ? Completely new to this. I already replaced the .dll that you posted yesterday
 
This is the latest crash I got, right after it someone told me the server had crashed as well. I don't see any of those .crashstack files on the server files however. Does this tell you anything?
 
I removed all ArkApi files to try it out, and still got the crash. So I'm guessing its not the shop this time. No idea whats causing my crashes now... :(
 
then it must be some random bug and that crash log you sent is not from the server its a client side crash log my guess is something on the map is causing it if the api is not the fault strange.


i have had issues in the past where a dino outside the skybox cause's a crash when server saves try rolling back your server save.

Hey, I am having a bit of trouble getting this to work on my server. At the moment I keep getting this error in the log:

[ArkShop][error] [json.exception.parse_error.101] parse error at 749: syntax error - unexpected '{'; expected ']'
[API][warning] Failed to load plugin - ArkShop Error code: 1114.

If anyone can help me work out what I am doing wrong here it would be greatly appreciated.
 
no, my bad , i was using it today, but dunno why i believed that resource updated , so i changed it ! Anyway the version from https://arkserverapi.com/threads/ark-shop-crash-fix-others-too.361/ show me with yellow letter on chat when someone ask for a kit !

if you actually read the page where i posted the release i explain only you as a admin can see the yellow text when players use shop they cannot. nor do they see your yellow text in anyway only you do when admin.

it will tell you the error's click them and it will show where they are.
 
Ah, thank you very much. I was googling for something like that earlier but only got compilers that would give the same error line -.-. A few commas here and there and it is good to go now. Cheers OwnProx.

I was trying /shop 1 or /shop 2 etc as well same thing, use to work before it broke. I can still purchase things fine and do /points etc.
 
Was poking around and couldn't find any info on it, but how do i disable the starter kit from being automatically given to new spawns? So they have to use the /kit starter command to get instead of getting it instantly on spawn.

Sorry if its been asked before and really appreciate your work!
