Public service announcement: Wildcard just released a statement in relation to "PAID" mods and the terms of service being enforced now. This announcement would apply to anyone who is using plugins that require the mod to have a payment wall behind such as HWID activation. Steam will now start banning any mods that have payment walls added to that being said if anyone is using mods that require the plugins HWID activation system, be careful and cautious as of right now steam is going to start doing ban waves against those mods.

Questions; What about ArkServerAPI (Terms of service)?

Questions; Will ArkServerAPI be enforcing the new policy wildcard is enforcing on steam bans?
Reply: As of right now we are not planning on enforcing the policy for API unless directed otherwise by Michidu directly.
Questions; What are some examples of plugins that are integrated with mods that could be affected in the ban waves?
Examples below; - Private job commissions are fine. (Mod has to function the same for all parties using the mod. Paying someone to create a mod for your server is fine as long as anyone can subscribe and use the mod functions without restrictions.)
For example; If someone hires you to create a private mod for their gaming community. The mod is required under the new TOS to function the same for all steam subscribers the same way. Any restrictions that are exclusive for the server are against the terms of service and will result in the mod being banned and removed entirely.

- To report a mod do it directly on steam and not wildcard forums. (Zen confirmed inside modding discord that the reports will be handled directly by the steam support team and not the wildcard forums and enforcement team.)

- Mods that are exclusive to one server but blocked for others are not allowed. (Zen answered in modding discord that all mods including patron-related mods must have the same access to everyone without restrictions. Any mods that limit/restrict or require whitelisting to use the full features are now against the terms of service and will result in the mod being removed entirely.)

- Selling any type of in-game gear or skins via hidden payment is banned.
