We've encountered the same issue as Jayhamilton. It seems that if you put Gachas in a hotbar in cryopods/soultraps, then you equip another one from inventory it can override the limit. We set the limit on 2, using this method we could go up to 10 even. Short vid: Btw. its the same for cryopods...
