Hello. First, please understand i'm extremely new to any form of editing so feel free to point me in another direction should you feel that would be necessary.

All i would like to do is add a dino to the ArkShop. What should I begin to learn to achieve this?

What you want to learn is to start understanding how JSON works: https://www.w3schools.com/js/js_json_intro.asp
It's also important to understand there sections like "Kits" "Shop" Sell" and so on...
