If a client does not log out correctly (for example, game crash), it will stay logged in to the server for several minutes. Entering the server is not possible during the time. The message appears: "There is already a player with this account connected".
I've been thinking for a while what I can do about it.
One idea I had was Discord. There users can deposit their Steam account in the Discord profile.
Would it be possible to implement a Discord Bot that allows players to kick themselves off the server? The Discord Bot could read out the Steam account stored in the discord profile and then kick it off the server when the player executes the command. The kick works via a rcon command that the bot sends. is this possible?
Or maybe you even have a whole other idea how to solve this problem via a plugin?
