, never got this issue prior to updating to api 2.0, guessing a clean install (removing old api dependancies from the folder) is needed, advice is appreciated, thanks!

I don't see how it's related to API. Anyway, it doesn't touch firewall or any of server settings.

Clear the check mark in the settings with <Manage firewall settings automatically>

it was on my end, something stupid i changed, don't worry about it, delete/lock this thread if possible (DO NOT USE | brackets in server name in ASM btw)

did you run asm as admin? because if not pretty sure it cant interact with the firewall.
